Teaching Philosophy

On some days I don't get much beyond trying to remember to show up for class. On most days, though, I'm enthusiastic about teaching. Sociology is a wonderful subject to teach because it happens all around us, and so I try to get students to examine their own experiences and those of others from various sociological perspectives.
