Deconversion from Christianity

Conversion, the transition into religious faith, has been studied much more than deconversion, transition out, and yet they are of similar value both theoretically and theologically. This project examines in-depth narratives from 50+ individuals who left the Christian faith. The goal is to analyze the reasons that they give for their deconversion for a better understanding of why this happen.

We're mostly done with our analyses and are starting to write them up. Hopefully a working draft will be available by summer.
